Georgeanne Wayman was born in New Jersey into a family with artistic parents. She was influenced by the art atmosphere at home and showed her artistic creativity from a very early age. Georgeanne believes art is for everyone and is a great way of self expression. She always found time to develop her talents as a fine art painter through classes and workshops. She finds great inspiration by visiting galleries in NYC, Paris, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New England and online. Some of her favorite artists are Marilyn Simandle, Norman Rockwell, Edward Gordan, Jennifer Deihl and of course the French Impressionists.
Georgeanne lives in the coastal town of Toms River most of the year and spends many weekends and days at her beach house in Cape May NJ. The
inspirations are endless for her, both in her gardens at home in Toms River and at the beaches and town of Cape May, and the coast of New England.
She has been a student and teacher and enjoying classes in the quaint town of Island Heights for 6 years at the Riverview Art School under the
guidance and supervision of Elaine Sgambati http://www.spa-fine-art.com/Elaine-Sgambati.html
